DRESS RENTAL POLICIES

RENTAL PERIOD

Local- Rental period is 2 days, beginning when renter picks up the dress & ending when dress is dropped back off.

Shipped- Rental period is 2 days, beginning on the shoot date & ending day after when dress is sent back in the mail.

Any additional days needed outside of rental period will be subject to a $20 extension fee per day.

SHIPPING

Renter is responsible for all shipping costs, the flat rate $35 shipping fee includes a pre-paid USPS return label.

Renter can expect to receive rental 1-2 days before their shoot date.

Renter must ship dress back the DAY AFTER SHOOT NO LATER THAN 9AM. If the day after falls on a Sunday, renter must ship back Monday by 9AM.

Shipping price includes standard delivery times, if address needs to be rushed, renter is responsible to cover rush fees of post office.

DRESS CONDITION

Because these are rentals, they have been pre-loved for other photoshoot. They will not be in new condition, & minor wear or imperfections should be expected. 

If rental is being shipped, Renter will likely need to do light steaming upon receiving as rentals wrinkle easily in shipment.

CLEANING

Most care of the dress can be done by Owner, however if Owner is unable to remove any kind of marks, Renter will be responsible for a professional dry cleaning fee. If any damage occurs and requires professional mending, Renter will also be responsible for all charges. 

Renter is responsible for removing twigs, sand, debris on rental before returning to Owner. 

Renter must not clean rental with any cleaner, detergent, or bleach of any sort. 

DAMAGE/REPLACEMENT

Renter is responsible for all damages up to full replacement of dress if necessary.

PHOTOSHOOT PURPOSES

Taylar Made Dress Rentals are meant for Styled Photoshoots ONLY. They are not to be used for actual events such as weddings, elopements, engagements, bridals, or personal photoshoots. If Renter uses Rental(s) for either Wedding or Elopement photos they will be subject to a $400 fee.

CANCELATIONS/RESCHEDULING

Taylar Made Rentals is not responsible for any cancelations of photoshoots due to weather, vendor cancelations, event cancelations, mis-scheduling by Renter, or any other circumstance.

50% of rental cost is legally non-refundable.  If cancelation is made within 2 weeks of event, no refund will be given.

If event is rescheduled within 2 weeks of the original shoot date, no refund will be given unless new shoot date falls within 24 hours of original scheduled shoot date. Wherewith, rescheduling may be accommodated dependent on Owner's schedule with other Renters. If new shoot date does not fall into this timeframe or cannot be accommodated by Owner, Renter must schedule a new date with another full charge of rental amount due, and no refund will be given. 

STUDIO POLICIES

PAYMENT

Full payment is due at time of booking.

CANCELATIONS

Cancelations may be made up to 72 hours prior to scheduled booking for full refund. Any cancelations made after this will be non-refundable.

RESCHEDULING

Reschedules may be accommodated up to 72 hours before scheduled booking with no fee. Any reschedules made within 48 hours of scheduled booking will be charged as a cancelation for full service, and no refund will be given. All rescheduling is on a first come first serve basis and Taylar Made Studios cannot guarantee availability for any certain date/time.

TIME SLOT PUNCTUALITY

- Renter understands that they or anyone in their party cannot come inside studio early to prep for shoot (ex : hair and makeup for models/clients, wardrobe styling, setting up of props, or any other reason).

- Set up and take down must be completed within the booked time slot.

- Renter understands that if they or their party shows up or stays more than 5 minutes before or after their scheduled rental, this could conflict with other bookings. It will also be considered “overtime” and will be billed accordingly, with a 1-hour minimum.

- Taylar Made Studio is not responsible for late parties and cannot guarantee extra rental time. No refunds will be issued.

- If additional time is needed, Renter must notify Taylar Made Studio 15 min prior to end of booking to see if there is additional availability. If approved, renter will be billed accordingly.

RULES

- Music must be kept at a reasonable volume, as Taylar Made Studio is attached to a home.

- Taylar Made Studio prohibits the use of nails or tacks. Command strips or wall friendly tapes/mounting putties are okay.

- Absolutely no use of glitter or confetti will be permitted inside the studio space or on premises. If glitter or confetti is used a $75 cleaning fee will apply as it is extremely difficult to clean.

- Each renter assumes responsibility for returning the studio to the state they found it upon arrival before they leave. All lights, heater(s), air conditioner(s), and electrical equipment must be turned off. Trash and litter must be removed from the premises. Studio must be in clean condition for the next renter. If studio is found in an unclean condition a $50 cleaning fee will apply.

- There is no drinking, smoking, vaping or drug use permitted within or on the premises of Taylar Made Studio. Violators will be asked to leave. No refunds will be issued.

SECURITY

Renter agrees to keep strictly confidential the address of the Taylar Made Studio & Key Code password for entry by limiting use to Renter and any affiliates that will be present during scheduled time only (ex: models, clients, collaborators, guests, employees). Renter is required to lock door after booking finishes.

EXPECTATIONS

Taylar Made Studio is a safe space to create in. There is an absolute zero-tolerance policy for any inappropriate behavior towards a Taylar Made Studio representative or property. This includes any verbal or physical assault of any kind. Violators will be asked to leave and will not be issued a refund.

DAMAGE

Each renter assumes full responsibility for any damage caused to any part of the studio sustained during the renter's scheduled studio time. Each renter agrees to pay in full for repairing or replacing any item or structure damaged by the renter or by renter's employees, contractors, collaborators, performers, clients, guests, or any of the renter's visitors. Full payment for damage will be made within ONE WEEK of the damage.

LIABILITY

Each renter assumes responsibility and liability for injury or death to any persons they invite to the space, including but not limited to: clients, models, collaborators, contractors, employees, guests, or visitors during their rental period.
